"poof" and 1/3 of the year is gone. glancing back, i have had a conspicuously good time (though i did feel comatose during several of my final papers. haha). i have completed my polytechnic education, i survived my 21st birthday, i had an enjoyable and fulfilling trip to vietnam, i'm into the final stages of my driving practical (this activity is addictive i tell you), running has never felt better, nus has replied (i reckon ntu will reply soon), and the list goes on.
looking ahead, the next quarter of 2009 will be equally scintillating! the letters that i am anticipating will be coming real soon. in may, there is the impending hurdle at CAAS, the graduation ceremony (where everyone dons the funny-looking attire) and the D & D (grins from ear to ear). after those joyous celebrations however, i will be in for some arduous activities. june will be an energy-sapping period as i tackle, first, the sundown marathon, and the expedition to gunung stong after that. my parents wonder, "why does my son always get himself into such stuff." haha. oh yes, my driving test will be somewhat squeezed between those events.
july, might be a period of gloom. sigh. the possibility of enlisting then, is absurdly high. though there is this voracious mindset to be conscripted (at least i get NS done and over with asap) , i am aware that the carefree life i possess (now) will become a thing of the past. till then, i am having a hell of a good time.
