GATHERINGS

11th april, sat- over the weekend, i met terri for lunch. initially, it was her treat for someone had skipped my birthday party (a month ago). ironically, as her birthday was on the 7th of april, i offered to treat instead. nevertheless, we had a pleasant time catching up; on what we were busy with now, in the near future, and other lofty aspirations. kudos to your soon-to-be teaching profession. wow. i have 3 friends heading towards that path now. *taking photos with my old friend of 7 years slipped my mind. perhaps next time.

after lunch, i headed to ECP for dinner with the motley crew (from YEP Hue). haha. those poor souls had endured 5 hours of non-stop cycling before this. oh. our attire were vastly different. they were in sportswear while i was impeccably dressed in shirt and jeans. to be sandwiched between a group of athletic (and sweaty) cyclists was not something pleasing to the nose. haha. that said, i enjoyed their company thoroughly.

12th april, sun- it was kenny's birthday. many of my classmates pulled out at the last moment. as such, i could only count on ce jie to go down with me (a few came much later). located at aloha loyang, his chalet was lavishly huge. there were 4 bedrooms. a living room, garden, and food, yes good food to be precise. once photos were snapped and the autograph book signed, off we went (armed hungrily with fork and spoon). we were ravenous people. haha. looking around, we were the only people from kenny's class. not that we were awkard, the feeling i had was more of irony. you see. back in class, ce jie and i, we were the most vehement critics of mr leong. yes, it was really the don't-give-face to each other kind of treatment. and now, we were the earliest to reach? life can be full of surprises.

15th april, wed- there was another event from the YEP Hue group. yea, this enthusiastic bunch of people are always coming up with ideas to enjoy the holidays. haha. this time, it was bbq at Yixin's house. as i had to accompany my mum to the small claims tribunal court in the afternoon, i had to skip the buying of food part. i couldn't stay for long too. i left to look for willy and lian kai at 9pm.
