it's 4 days into the new term. i am greeted daily by my fellow guai lan classmates. i could vividly remember how we used to be so polite to each other. as familiaritiy seeps in, formalities are thrown out of the window. a friendly smile in the past has now morphed into a why-the-heck-are-you-staring-at-me glare. and that is only the beginning. more extreme cases involve the use of violence. there was a martial art demonstration yesterday. A was trying to carry B, B on the other hand, tried to execute a head-butt on A (i assume that was what they were trying to do), they struggled with each other for awhile, all the time carrying a megawatt smile on each others' face. oh, and that was our third day of class after not seeing each other for 6 months. i believe we miss each other too much.

then there is the ubiquitous willy, who pops up everywhere, all the time. although very smart and affable, he is equally capable to be labelled guai lan kia no.1. when i see him and his megawatt smile, i know for sure, he is gonna find fault with me. in a harmless but nevertheless sarcastic manner that is. i hope he keeps gabriel busy with his fault-finding antics. leave the rest of us alone will you? hahaha.
that said, the rest of us are nowhere near saints. gabriel, ce jie, fred, xian ying, wee siong and myself, i wonder what will happen to this motley crew in the coming months. i pray that i will have a better day tml.
