life now is a sharp contrast to then. "armed" with my result slips, i went back to thank the teachers and Mr Wong. ANGcc was the first i saw. he was in his usual buoyant mood. LEEkh, NGhp, TOHkw, KOHgs, TANjeffrey and BEHyh were all around too. apparently, LEEkh, NGhp and TOHkw, they have all been promoted to HODs. i thanked Wong for getting me a place in NP. *without his help, i'll probably be doing my NS now. to my astonishment, he thanked me too, for coming back.
2 weeks ago, minci and i, we found a new pet shelter, "animal lover's league". in terms of size and the number of animals, between mettacats and "animal lover's league", it was hardly a contest. *speaking of mettacats.. we went there earlier in the day, but siew ying (founder) wasn't around. according to a lady volunteer there, she needed more helpers (siew ying told me she had enough help). #$@#^&*()_@!!! hrm. so she hasn't got over that misunderstanding... nevertheless, we gave our contacts to the lady, who said: "siew ying will get in touch with you." she didn't. * eh wth. free labour also dun wan. hey lady, it's not 1 or 2 pair of hands you're getting.. it's a whole gang!
anyway, i shouldn't let this incident overshadow the happy times we had at the new shelter. canines. felines. if you're an animal lover, "animal lover's league" is a feast for the eyes (and hands). i can't resist stroking a dog/cat whenever i see one. caressing its fur, stroking its head.. lol. i know, it sounds pervertic . =/ the founder is a lady named Katty. *she's an avid smoker. everytime we meet, she would have a cigarette in her mouth. and ya, i found Duke's lookalike (rottweiler). =)
